Small Businesses have a special place in my heart. Behind each one is a unique story – a person having an idea, a passion, a dream. My first project is going to tackle telling the stories of small businesses for this reason. My hope is to give these businesses more exposure, but also something that allows them to showcase their journey and to share with friends and family.

For my parents, it was easy to write their story. While I did interview them, I remembered experiencing their growth along with them. For this project, I’ll be taking a similar approach of interviewing the owners, but I’ll be speaking to others, looking at pictures and videos, and spending time to get the essence of each story.
